W. Winterhalter Charles W. Winterhalter, 74 of 1120 Broadway Ave. N. W., Native and lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, died Wednesday Oct. 26, 1938 in the afternoon in St. Mary’s hospital after a week’s illness. He was a machinist by trade and retired about five years ago. Surviving are the widow, Emilie; six sons, Joseph, Alfred, Henry, Louis and Arthur, all of Grand Rapids and Edward of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Hansknecht and Mrs. Charles Butterfield both of Grand Rapids; a brother, Fred J. Winterhalter, and sister Mrs. Elizabeth Fischer, also of this city, and Twenty-two grandchildren. He was a member of the St Joseph and Holy Name Societies of St. Anthony’s Church, Were funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
