I would love if you could find those listed obits of the "Baldus" family for me!!! I have in my genealogy the name of "Stevens" who came from probably Vermont to New York then on to Michigan. Maybe I can help you there. My maiden name is "Trumble", often confused with "Trumbull" and "Turnbull". They are all related if coming from Chenango Co. NY in the early-mid 1800s.
