Many thanks to Evelyn Sawyer for transcribing the index to the 1880 census and for all the work she has done for the Kent Co. site. I am physically unable to do research out side my home so I am asking for help. I need to know who all is in the household of Thomas Doran. The index listed an Ann Doran in his household. Thomas' oldest daughter was Ann(a) she would be 17/18 so may have been listed in the index. I am hoping that is maybe his mother Ann. I had been told that Thomas was not listed in the census at all and I had my doubts about this as he was in previous censuses as well as the City Directories. I also would like to know if anyone else was in the household of Joanna Doran, the widow of Patrick Doran, Thomas' brother.
