TENNIS-Jay W. TENNIS, aged 71, at the time of his death in Chula Vista, Calif. on August 1, 1966*, will be brought back to Grand Rapids for burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Ethel G. TENNIS, 261 Garrett Ave., Chula Vista, Calif. 92010. Mr. and Mrs. TENNIS formerly lived on Orchard Hill S.E., but in California since 1960. Mr. TENNIS was a member of Grand River Lodge No. 34 F&M, the Scottish Rite Saladin Temple of the Shrine and the American Legion; also the Community Congregational Church in Chula Vista. Graveside services will be at the family lot in Woodlawn Cemetery (follow the yellow arrows), under the auspices of Grand River Lodge, on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 1 o'clock. The arrangements are by the Metcalf Mortuary, 459-4375.
