LAMAIN--Mrs. Agatha G. LAMAIN, aged 87, of Grandville, passed away Friday, August 23, 1996. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. W. C. LAMAIN in 1984. She is survived by her children, Jan (Hanke) LAMAIN of the Netherlands, Corry (John) DEN DEKKER of Canada, Gerrit (Betty) LAMAIN of MN, Jane RIPMA, Barb (Jim) VAN STEE, all of Grand Rapids, Agatha (Lam) VANDERKOOI of Portage, Wilhelmina (Thomas) KAREL, William C. (Tillie) LAMAIN, all of Grandville; her daughter-in-law Mary Lou LAMAIN of MN; 26 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; her sister, Wiep NIEUWENHUIS of N.J.; her brothers, Cor (Dick) TROMP, Jan (Dini) TROMP, all of the Netherlands; and her sister-in-law, Ploon TROMP of the Netherlands. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM at the First Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 1261 Beckwith NE, with Rev. C. VOGELAAR officiating. Friends may call Zaagman Memorial Chapel North, Saturday 7 to 9 PM and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. No Sunday visitation. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the LAMAIN Memorial Fund at Plymouth Christian School or the Building Fund of the First Netherlands Reformed Congregation.
