In researching my grandmother, Emilia KARECKAS, I found a number of references to Kareckas families in Kent County, such as St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery, and the independent Lithuanian cemetery. I also found reference to a "Kareckas" farm. My grandmother came from Lithuania in 1899, married twice, settled in Plymouth, Pa., and had 7 children.
