(Source - Grand Rapids Press, Fri. May 12, 1967, p.50) VLUG-Mrs. Mina A. Vlug, aged 81, of 1501 Bristol NW, passed away at Butterworth Hospital Thursday evening. Surviving are her husband, Isaac; two sons, Peter and Dirk; four daughters, Mrs. Alida Babb, Mrs. John (Wesselina) DeRoos and Mrs. Don (Marian) Balk all of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Paul (Gertrude) Mackie of Burbank, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Alice VandenBrink of LosAngeles, Calif., and Mrs. Rinsie Roos of Santa Monica, Calif. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Van'tHof Chapel of the Hollebeek-Oele Mortuaries, 851 Leonard St., NW, with the Rev. Charles B. Wissink, Pastor of the Richmond Reformed Church officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Vlug reposes at the chapel where relatives and friends may meet the family from 7 to 9 Friday and Saturday evening and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday.
