Surviving are a brother Rev. Bert Van Malsen of Grand Haven; five sisters, Mrs. William Avink, Mrs. John Schapperkotter, both of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Harry Clark of Chicago, Mrs. Clarence Schipper of Oakley, Kan. and Mrs. Carl Niebrugge of Baldwin, Kansas. Mr. VanMalsen reposes at the Jonkehoff Funeral Home, 1225 Lake Dr, SE where services will be held Saturday afternoon at l:30, Rev. Lawrence Borst of Oakdale Reformed Church officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may begin calling at the funeral home Thursday afternoon.
