I thought it might be of interest to someone. I have no idea how it is related to my family, but it must be of some significance if it was kept in this album. If anyone would know the history of anyone listed in it please let me know. Also, I am researching my family names in Kent and Charlevoix counties which include NOWAK, NOVAK,THOMAS, TOMASZEWSKI, WISNEWSKI, NEUPERT, JABLINSKI. If anyone knows of these names or histories, please contact me, Thank you in advance. There are no dates listed on the clipping, but I did a lookup for the Grand Rapids press and it seems that it was published in 1942. It is exactly as follows: SEDOR- Mrs. Alexandra Sedor of 1010 McReynolds ave. NW., passed away early Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Bielecki, 1247 Quarry ave., NW. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frank Bielecki, Mrs. Louis Urban, and Mrs. Glen Handlin; four grandchildren; two brothers, and one sister. Mrs. Sedor was a member of the St. Theresa society and the Rosary Sodality, chaplet 15, of St. Adalbert’s church, and members will meet Friday evening at 7 o’clock to recite the Rosary at the residence of her daughter, 1247 Quarry ave., NW., where the body reposes. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at St. Adalbert’s church. Interment in Polish Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Latzek.
