Hello Tonia - I attended Oakdale United Methodist Church for many years which is kitty-corner from the school on Evergreen. I've been away from the area for many years so memory is hazy. I believe the church was called Oakdale as was on corner of Oakdale and Evergreen and that the school was also called Oakdale. Evergreen runs between Eastern and Hall? in the SE part of GR. Hope this helps.
