Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock a.m. from the residence, 1526 Coit ave., and at 9 o'clock at St. Alphonsus church. Burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery. THE GRAND RAPIDS PRESS, Grand Rapids, Mich., Fri., Sept. 2, 1927, Pg. 28, Col. 4, Art. 2 RAYMOND PETER SCHMIDT DIES IN SANATORIUM Raymond Peter Schmidt, 31 years old, died Wednesday afternoon at Sunshine sanatorium after an illness of more than two years. He was a World war veteran and an active member in the American Legion, Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name society of St. Alphonsus church. In June, 1921, he married Miss Anne MULVEY. Besides the widow, he is survived by a daughter, Anne Therese, his mother, Mrs. Johanna (HYLAND) SCHMIDT, three sisters, Katherine, Mary and Lillian, all of Grand Rapids, and four brothers, Othmar and Amos of Grand Rapids and Val C. of Mt. Pleasant and Cyril of Flint. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Alphonsus church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
