I have found several bios of him on internet but none tell me who his parents were. He supposedly came from Rhode Island but which branch of the Almy family does he spring from? I have a John Almy on my database with very little information except his parents (land deeds); some time ago someone suggested that this Judge John Almy of Michigan is the same one as "mine" but I have my doubts. Would like to know for sure..so I can finally use or toss this stack of papers I have from internet searching, telling me about the many accomplishments of Judge John.
