Hello Peg. I, too, have rented many films trying to find marriage data for my ancestors, the John Hart(t)s and Lamports..... Good Luck with that.......Through trial and error, I found a few of my records. But, the state of Michigan had no marriage data for any of them........Records werent collected as often back then, I guess.... Their father is Royal J. Tuttle. He was married twice and I believe Beulah's mother was Jennie Fuller who probably died in childbirth on May 1889. She is buried in Wexford County, Michigan. From census records his wife is Minnie,Miriam and Marion L in 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930. I haven't found his marriage to her, but found his marriage to Ada Bowman on 9 Sept 1889. I haven't located the birth records of either girl to prove who the mother is. 1910 Census gives Royal as being married twice. The FHL has films for these years, but doesn't give the book #'S, so would have to possibly order 3 or 4 films to get the right book. Can anyone help figure out which year to order? Am waiting for birth films to arrive to find the right mother. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated as to where to go from here. Or where to send for the certificates. Beulah J.
