All I know is that Francis Egene Hicks (my ggf) was partnered with Chester Walch (who I think was his uncle via marriage) between 1890-1900 There was a listing at Ancestry.com from the 1889/90 directory, but no information. I've tried contacting Sparta Twp historical society, but they haven't gotten back to me. How do I find Business information like this?? I've never research businesses, most of my ancestors were farmers.
