MURPHY, aged 73, of 2083 Three Mile Rd. NE, passed away Monday afternoon December 23, 1974. Surviving are five sons, Charles MURPHY of Casnovia, Robert MURPHY, Ronald MURPHY, and William MURPHY all of Grand Rapids,, Harold MURPHY of Lowell; five daughters Mrs. Clarence (Geraldine) MOYER, Miss Betty MURPHY, Mrs. Calvin (Marie) MORRISON, all of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Sidney (Delores) CRUM of Conklin, Mrs. Roy (Patricia) MCLEAN of Sparta, 29 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a brother Clarence BLAK[E]SLEE of Grand Rapids. Mr. MURPHY reposes at the VanStrien-Alman Funeral Home, 1833 Plainfield NE, where funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Robert J. Lignell of Faith Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in Fairplains Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home Christmas Day beginning from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
