Charlene, The Davis and the Guild are not connected (at least not yet!). The Guilds are Joel Guild, brothers Edward Guild, sister Olive Guild, Edward's children Mary Joanna (my great great grandmother), Horace, Austin, Marium, Louisa, Erastus Ganyard, John, Julia, Eunice....and a host of other Guilds. Joel had the first frame house in Grand Rapids, near Louis Campaus' residence by the Grand River. Edward settled in Paris township in Kent County. Any connections?
