Hello, Since George M. HOLLISTER died in WWI - the following information may be of interest to you - You can write to the National Archives to obtain information from the World War I Burial Case Files. A person who died in WWI would have records in these files. The address the you can write to is: National Archives 700 Pennsylvania Ave. NW Washington, DC 20408 ATTN: Old Military Records - RG 92 Request the World War I Burial Case Files for the individual that you are interested in and if possible, provide all the following information: Name Date of Birth Place of Residence (before enlisting in the military) Date of Death Branch of Service Date of Enlistment Place of Enlistment Any information that you might have regarding the company, group, etc. to which the person was assigned.
