Morn., Feb. 6, 1923, Pg. 3, Column 5, Obit. 5 MATTHEW SCHMIDT Matthew SCHMIDT, 65, 22 Straight St., SW, died Monday morning at St. Mary's hospital after a two weeks illness. The deceased had been a lifelong resident of this city and had for many years conducted a monument business on the west side. Surviving him are his widow and three sons, Robert A., Frank P. and Vincent; two daughters, Mrs. Louis KIRCHHOFF and Miss Florence SCHMIDT; two brothers, August P. and Anthony F., of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Caroline PULTE of Muenster, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 at St. Mary's church. Interment in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
