Hello List - This question is not exactly genealogical in nature, but you could help my failing memory about my own history. I only remember attending two schools: Lafayette Elementary and Central High School. In the 1940s did Lafayette go from grades K through 6 and Central from grades 7 through 12? Hello Nancy, I also went to school in the forties and the elementary schools had grades K through 6 and high school was 7 through 12. I'm an Ottawa grad.
