But now they would like to know more about their heroes and keep their memory alive. Therefore, the ultimate goal is to have a short story or bio on each hero. Information collected will be part of a book I'm putting together for the Finance Corps and is also part of my web site (www.military-heroes.com). In addition, the Regimental Commander plays on honoring these heores during the U.S. Army Finance Corps Regimental Week and Banquet in May 2007. As much as possible, he would like to comminicate with the heroes family and invite them to the Regimental Banquet. The Finance Corps Muesum is in the process of building a Memorial to honor the corps fallen Paymasters and Finance Corps soldiers. I have not been able to locate any of Hiawatha's family and therefore have very little information on him. If there is any information that you provide (even your thoughts and stories about Hiawatha) is appreciated. Hope I've answered your questions. Richard
