Aug. 18th, 1888 d. June 15th, 1968. On a recent visit to Mi. I found on his death certificate his mother was Eva I and father Henry Benton. I had uncles Charley and Oscar. My father served in WWI (Navy) and he was commited to VA hospital in Battle Creek Mi. in 1934, where he spent the remainder of his life. I found the tombstone of Eva in Lakeview Cemetery, but nothing to indicate Henry was buried there also. I was borned Dec. 23, 1934 a month after my father entered the hospital. Therefore I knew very little of the Benton family. I have always wanted to find out about the Benton side, but seemed to never find the time.
