Verdurmen aged 74 of l230 Alpine Ave. NW passed away Tues evening at his home after a lingering illness. Surviving are widow l son John J. ;4 daughters, Mrs. Joseph J. ?Vresina; Mrs. Lloyd V. suey' Mrs. Claude L Stank; and Mrs. John T. Young and 5 grandchildren all of this city. the deceased has been a resident of Grand Rapids 50 years and was a member of St. Anthonys Benevolent Assoc. and the Holy Name Society of St. Anthonys Church. funeral services Friday morning and internment in Mount Calvary Cemetery. She married Mr Laurent...and I can not recall if his name was Alfred or Arthur Laurent. Aunt Vivian died 2 Dec 1991, and her husband died 12 July 1989. I do know they had two daughters, Pat and Jackie. My husband was in the Navy for over 22 years. When we returned, almost everyone in my father's side of the family had passed away.
