Janet, Would you ar someone else be willing to look up some names in the parish? I have many names of people living in Byron Center and Dorr 1880'2. I'm trying to connect them. If it had a badtrans virus, the virus sent it making use of inbox addresses or other files. There was no real messageand the person indicated in the from section of the address had no idea it had been sent. There probably was an underscore before the name in the from section. Randy, Why don't you try the Grandville Chamber of Commerce - www.grandville.chamber.org/ and see if they have any ideas. Otherwise one of the other UAW-CIO local might be able to direct you. That shop has been closed for a while. The other possibility is the Grandville Historical Society. The C of C should be able to give you an address for that. I'm not sure that they have a web site. Elly, I would certainly think that they would have the film to order for the index and then you would have to order the particular film that fit that index. They may have a way to go in by computer now but I don't think so. I sure would give it a try.
