There are some buried north of Cedar Springs in Solon Cemetery. Some in Greenwood Cemetery, Sparta. I know of one Stark for sure, my wifes grandmother, Ethel Walcott [Starks], wife of Verner Walcott, Marne and Sparta. Links to Harold J. Curtis family of Sparta plus many other Walcotts in the Grand Rapids area - Michigan [Kent Co.]. Thanks for any and all info on the Starks. I know very little about the Starks, and would love to plug into that side of the relations of the Walcott/Curtis/Hoban/Starks. I am married to a Curtis of Sparta, Mich. He was born in Ontario in1831. He married Jane STANZEL and they had children James H.(1862-?), Sarah Margaret (1864-?), and Charles Stewart(?)(1866-?). He, with or without any of the family, probably came to Michigan between 1881 and 1889. Looking for information on this family in Grand Rapids.

My grandfather Lars Olsen was born in Romedal, Hedmarken in 1870. His wife Julie Thomasen was born in Furnes in 1870.They moved to Kristiania where their daughter was born-Dagny Elise Olsen in 1898. Julie & Dagny left for North Dakota in March 1904.Julie gave birth to a son Guttorm on board ship. Lars followed in July 1904. Before he left Norway, he changed his name to Lars Olsen Tingstad. If anyone has information on their parents or siblings, I would appreciate the help.
