Thanks for the response - she was 3/4 Irish/English and 1/4 Ottawa Indian. Found out she went to Central H S, in Grand Rapids - was a senior in 1921. Janet > Janet, I would think that you might check with the Grand Rapids School administration on this, but I would think that she might have attended Fountain from the Cherry Street address and Coit from the Clancy St address. High School most likely would have been Central High from either address.

Does anyone know what schools existed in Grand Rapids in 1908-1920 or where I can get the information. My mother live at 300-600 Cherry street SE in 1910 and 635 Clancy Street in 1920.
