WINTERHALTER and Emelia GISSENER. He married 1st, Henrietta SCHULTE, who died. They had one daughter, Katherine WINTERHALTER, who was adopted by a family member after Henrietta's death and is now Katherine BRAUNSCHNEIDER. Katherine never married. She was a nun at one point and very gifted in music. He married 2nd, Leona Maria SCHMIDT. They had one daughter, Alice Louise WINTERHALTER. Alice married Andrew LIMBER and they had five children. Al and Leone were my gr-uncle and aunt. They raised my mother, Virginia Elizabeth PETTIT, when she was orphaned. Virginia's mother, Erna, was Leone's sister. I always considered Al and Leone to be my grandparents and I currently live in their old home. Al died 31 May 1979, Grand Rapids, MI, and Leone died 25 Dec. 1982, Grand Rapids, MI. I know that Al had several brothers and a sister, Sophie, who lived in California. I nev! er knew any of them. Al, Henrietta and Leona, Charles and Emelia, are all buried in Mt. I am looking for a cemetery near Dutton that has my great-grandmother and great-uncle buried in it. My great grandmother, Anna (LEATHERMAN) STEINER, born July 5, 1842 and died May 13, 1882 and one of her son's, Peter STEINER, born January 14, 1877 and died February 27, 1877. Both are buried somewhere near Dutton, Michigan. The people that knew where they were buried are long gone and my 84 year old mother would like to find the graves.
