    3. Hey, all, didn't want to barge in here, but wanted to let that I think this is a great idea and let you know that the Kent County Michigan GenWeb Project has been working to put cemetery pictures online for all of the Kent County MI cemeteries. It's not a comprehensive project we're not taking pictures of every gravestone in every graveyard but we are trying to get pictures of all these important genealogical sites. We've fallen into a pattern of photographing the CEMETERY SIGN, and a couple of broad 'VIEWS' just to show the look of the place, and then often a snapshot or two of REPRESENTATIVE GRAVESTONES, any NOTABLE MONUMENTS, and any particularly flashy MASOLEUMS, etc. You can see what we've done at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mikent/cemeteries/ The Master Cemetery List also has addresses for all of the county's cemeteries, if you're looking for a particular graveyard. In any case, I made a list of the ones that we don't have any pictures of yet. If you have a digital camera and time, we'd absolutely love to add a few pictures of each of these to our collection. Contact me or Evelyn Sawyer about where to sent images that are already digitized (out of a digital camera, or scanned in). If you have an old-fashioned film camera, contact me when the film is developed, and I'll give you my home address. I got my scanner working again, and I'd be happy to scan them for you. Thank you!
