    3. Hello, I have been off the list for awhile and would like to resubmit the surnames I am interested in for Kent Co. They are BLAKE (Phinneas Francis father of Phinneas Vincent, father of Helen), WOOD (James father of Stephen, father of John), and FULLER (John S. father of Ellsie Mae), and FORD (Jacob father of Mabel). These folks were in the Grand Rapids area in the late 1800/early 1900's. Some other surnames that come in during marriages are HARWOOD, TIPTON, ESTEP, MACAVOY, STANTON, BAKER. I have just found out that one of my family very early married a Raplee in Yates Co. It seems that the Raplee family were prominent people there in the 1700`s. The family I am working on is Green. The daughter of Ebenezer Green (Hannah Greeen) wed a Raplee. There is good info on the Raplee family on Genforum as well. Good Luck in your search, Barb E

    3. My William Conrad, born 1822 in Pennsylvania, moved to Kent County, Michigan about 1875. He married Sarah Crawford in Elkhart County, Indiana. Their children were: Benjamin Franklin Conrad born 19 August 1854 - he is my ancestor Alonzo (Lon) Conrad born 1858 married Jessie Ford Christina (Tina) Conrad born March 1862 married Charles S. Brown Florance Conrad born 1865 married first William Russell, 2nd William N. Waller George W. Conrad born 1867 - ? William Conrad born 1868 - may have moved to Mississippi Charles M. Conrad born 1875 I know that William's wife, Sarah, died 10 December 1909 in Grand Rapids. I have yet to find the death date for William. Is there anyone on this list who recognizes some of these names? I would like to correspond with any of his descendants. I will be glad to share my information. Thanks. Patricia (Pat)
