Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Van'tHof Chapel of the Hollebeek-Oele Mortuaries, 851 Leonard St., NW, with the Rev. Charles B. Wissink, Pastor of the Richmond Reformed Church officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Vlug reposes at the chapel where relatives and friends may meet the family from 7 to 9 Friday and Saturday evening and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday.

Later they lived in Michigan. Henricus' father Berend Jan Beuker may be related to your Beukers - it would be coincidence that these names do not reflect some relationship, although the names were common at that time and place. I haven't gotten a full accounting of these Beukers - you might read the earlier response from Rev. Gerrit Jan Beuker who I corresponded with - he has a website with some of this history.

Several months ago someone on this list reported about a lady who was in the process of recording the burial sites of Michigan Civil War Veterans in Kent County. I would like to make contact with the person who has these records. My person of interest is Moses M. Brooks who died 31 January 1898 at Cedar Springs, MI.
