I may be able to help you some. There are two Adrians listed on the passenger list of the ship Agnes that embarked from Antwerp, Belgium and arrived in New York 7-16-1866. That is the same ship as my Grandma's family. Spelling has several variations--Hobeke, Hobecke, and Hobeecke. Tracy was the daughter of Jacoba Hobeke and Hubrecht VandenBoomgaard. Jacoba was born Aug 19,1868 in Ottawa County and died Oct 29,1927. Jacoba was the daughter of Anthonie and Thona Hobeke. Anthonie was born in Wolffarsdyk, Netherland about 1822 and died Dec 8, 1891 in Grand Haven. They were members of the First Christian Reformed Church in Grand Haven...you might check church records.
I am looking for information on a Frank Ranney, Lowden, Charles, Cora, Edwin and Marcia Ranney. Marcia is said to have remained in Kent county. Frank, Lowden, Cora and Charles were born in Kent/ Ionia county. Marcia was said to have been born in New York. Their Father Edwin is said to have died in Michigan. I found them all in Ionia county in 1870. But all were said to have come from Kent County to Craig Colorado. Marcia was 19, Frank 15, Lowden 12, Cora 5 and Charles A was 3 in the census. Edwin Sr. was 56 and their mother was not listed. Her name was Eliza Ann Ranney (Button). anyone related?

I found on www.switchboard.com that there are two William Hendrikse listed in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. There is also a "Karl" listed in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This might be interesting since Karl might be derived from "Karel". There are no Williams in the State of Michigan, at least not on Switchboard.com. You might want to check these names. Hope this helps.

I would love if you could find those listed obits of the "Baldus" family for me!!! I have in my genealogy the name of "Stevens" who came from probably Vermont to New York then on to Michigan. Maybe I can help you there. My maiden name is "Trumble", often confused with "Trumbull" and "Turnbull". They are all related if coming from Chenango Co. NY in the early-mid 1800s. The name first came from England to Chenango NY as "Turnbull". I found where it split and I hope I can help you with that. Please relpy and let me know if we can help one another, Patty.
