Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/kFB.2ACE/5628.2.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Jeff, I was inquiring about sexton records, which are records taken by administers of the cemetery when a burial takes place. The page you linked to was created by a group of individuals that actually went through and transcribed all the headstones. I've been to Winchester once and knew that if Tillotson was buried there, he didn't have a headstone, or that his headstone was destroyed/stolen. Thanks for your time on this matter. I've been to that page, and it's an invaluable resource to anyone who had family in Byron in the mid 1800s.

They must have missed Tillotson, I didn't see him but there are several Terrell's listed. There is a possibility that he doesn't have a headstone.

I have had all that I can get from Danby Cemetery for several years -including a couple of personal visits I made myself and where I also took photographs; their records told me nothing. I learned more on my trips by checking out the tombstones. So, Danby holds no further clues for me which is why I have now concentrated some on Grand Rapids for further tid-bits that may or may not be of help ... Appreciate the time taken...
