Of Portage Passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008. Pauline was born October 12, 1913 in Lennox, SD, a daughter of Herman and Gesiena (Plescher) Potter. She graduated from Hope College in 1935 and taught school in the Kalamazoo Public School system for 15 years. She was a member of Lakeland Reformed Church and was a volunteer for many activities, including the Kalamazoo Symphony. On June 20, 1941, she married Harold Borr, who preceded her in death on April 14, 1986. She was also preceded by her parents; two sisters, Mildred Joldersma and Jean Nieuwsma and a brother, Eugene Potter. She is survived by her sons, Ron (Ro) Borr of Portage and Douglas (Julia) Borr of Hallandale Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Nancy Ann, Brian, Jason, Kari and David; three great-grandchildren, Tyler and twin boys to be delivered in two weeks and her sister, Eunice Coffman of Detroit. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday in the Lakeland Reformed Church, 10442 Sprinkle Rd., with Rev. Ed Schmidt, offic! iating. A private interment will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
