Age 91 Of Richland, MI Formerly of Columbia, TN Died at Borgess Medical Center on Saturday, April 12, 2008. She was born on December 12, 1916 in Quincy, MI to Will and Zettie (Anderson) Hall. She grew up and lived as a young adult in and near Columbia, TN. and moved to Michigan with her husband and daughter in 1949. Flora retired in 1979 from Universal Die Cast in Saline, MI where she was employed for 30 years. Although she lived in Michigan for more than 30 years, her heart was always in the South. She moved back to Columbia when she retired. Flora was married to Clyde C. Leland on December 3, 1939. She was preceded in death in 1972 by Clyde, her husband and by three sisters and two brothers. Surviving are her daughter, Felecia L. "Rusty" (Pete) Graham of Richland, MI; two grandsons, Peter L. (Sherry) Graham of Pinckney, MI and Christopher B. (Kristi) Graham of Kalamazoo, MI; five great-grandchildren, Connor, Sean, Lily, Gabriel and Samuel; two sisters, Frances Howell and Helen (Wayne) Pagel both of Columbia, TN; and by! two brothers, Volter "Buck" (Frances) Hall and Wallace "Jim" Hall both of Columbia, TN. Early in her life she took responsibility for her brothers and sisters. That responsibility and love continued throughout her life, and expanded to include all the many family members that she knew and loved. She was a skilled seamstress and a gardener who could grow anything. Flora will be laid to rest beside her husband, Clyde, in Oakwood Cemetery in Saline, MI. Memorial services to celebrate Flora's life will be held at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. Time and date will be announced later.
