Jeri passed away March 28, 2008 in Dallas, TX. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Dancy and is survived by her brother, James Grenke; sister-in-law, Helen Grenke; sons, Joseph Dancy of Dallas, TX (grandchildren, Anne, Joe) and James Dancy of Kalamazoo, MI (grandchildren, Kim, Kiley); as well as numerous nieces and nephews who brightened her world. After raising a family in Grosse Pointe and Kalamazoo, MI, Jeri retired to the Stuart, FL area and St. Clair, MI. She took great pleasure in Michigan summers and Florida winters, leaving behind many friends and family whose lives she touched along the way. She enjoyed family activities including boating, tennis, music, the arts and nature. Jeri was active in the Kalamazoo Elks, Detroit Yacht Club later the Saint Clair Country Club and Island Dunes community. Memorial donations may be given to Cistercian Preparatory School, Irving, TX, the Kalamazoo Girls on the R! un, Kalamazoo, MI or the Omaha Home for Boys, Omaha, NB.
