Age 85 Of Kalamazoo Passed away on March 25, 2008 at Borgess Medical Center. Claire was born on December 13, 1922 in Escanaba, MI, the daughter of Andrew and Grace (Bebeau) Anderson. Claire married Earl Demers who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Peter Anderson. Claire is survived by seven children, Theodore Demers, Mary (James) Price, Anne (Joseph) Root, Andrew Peter Demers, Joseph Anderson, Robert L. (Dianne) Demers and Thomas Demers; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Genevieve Tretheway, Grace Burns and Dorothy Daly and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge-343-6156 where a Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 10:30 AM at St. Monica Catholic Church. Fr. Larry Farrell, celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
