Of Kalamazoo Went home to be with his Lord, Monday evening, April 14, 2008. Kevin was born November 4, 1954, in White Plains, New York, the son of Dr. Hugh and Patricia (Bouthillet) Brown. He was a resident of the Kalamazoo area since 1963. For many years Kevin was owner/operator of Brown & Brown Recording Studios and was well known for his ministry of music in all walks of life. On October 7, 1978, he was united in marriage to the former Debbie Noble who survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Shelagh Brown; his son, Colin Brown; his parents, Dr. Hugh and Patricia Brown; his siblings, Kathryn Brown and husband Dale Posthumus, Erin Brown Conroy and husband Shawn Conroy, Timothy Brown and wife Julie Cook Brown, Thomas Brown and wife Tammie Brown, Meaghan Brown and Kerrie Berends and husband Howard Berends; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Southridge Reformed Church, 6726 Texas Drive, Kalamazoo. ! A service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Southridge Reformed Church. Immediately following services the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.
