Of Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday afternoon, March 28, 2008. Flora was born December 18, 1930 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a daughter of Floyd and Retha (Hart) Selner. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Kalamazoo College for 25 years, before retiring. She was also a member of Northbridge Community Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George A. Hewitt on July 8, 2006 and a son, Larry Hewitt in June 2002. She is survived by a son, Keith (Julie) Hewitt, Sr. of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren, Clarissa Hewitt and fiancé, Jason, Zach (Michelle) Hewitt, Shelly (George) Boulter, Matthew (Leah) Trim, Keith "K.J." (Emily) Hewitt, Jr. and Rebecca "Becky" Hewitt and fiancé, Tim; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Terry of Moulton, AL; two brothers, Wayne (Boots) Selner of Moulton, AL and Herb Botner of Longview, TX; mother-in-law, Gertrude Hewitt; a special nephew, Harold (Sandy) Selner of Kalamazoo; and several other nieces, nephews, and co! usins. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. There will be no visitation. Private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Northbridge Baptist Church or Kairos Dwelling. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
