Of Kalamazoo Betty passed away Thursday morning, April 17, 2008, at Kairos Dwelling. She was born June 30, 1930 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Isaac and Martha Plunkett. Surviving are three children, Linda (Jack) Barton of Idaho, William (April) English of Constantine, and Annette Roberts of Texas; special granddaughter and caregiver, Kim Hazen of Kalamazoo; six other grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry (Janice) Plunkett, Robert "Don" Plunkett, and Stan Plunkett. Preceding her in death were her husband, J. Joseph Anspaugh; mother, Martha Plunkett; father and step-mother, Isaac and Bernice Plunkett; two sisters, Margaret Mudget, and Geraldine Hahn; and one brother, Bill Plunkett. Funeral services for Betty will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Avenue. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the cemetery.
