Of Kalamazoo Juanita passed away peacefully, early Tuesday morning, April 1, 2008 at Borgess Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born February 26, 1925 in Fremont, OH, one of four children to William and Jeanette (Wyant) Rohm. Preceding her in death are her husband, Donald E. Meyers on September 27, 1978; and her parents. Surviving are her four children, Donna (Emerson) Slater of Portage, Ron (Di) Meyers of Kalamazoo, Robb (Marrla) Meyers of Kalamazoo, and Brad Meyers of Plainwell; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty (James) Porter of Payette, ID, and Bonnie Rohm of Portage; one brother, Harlan (Maureen) Rohm of Benton Harbor; and several nieces and nephews. Private family graveside services were held in Grand Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Dream Center, 1122 Portage St., Kalamazoo, MI 49001.
