Sally was born July 9, 1949 in Holland, MI, daughter of Earl F. and Myrtle R. (Weber) Cole. She earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree and a Master of Science in Quality Engineering. Sally held various positions during her 30 year career in General Motors, working at both the Kalamazoo Plant and GM Engineering Headquarters and she retired as Sr. Quality Control Engineer in 2002. She was an excellent golfer, enjoyed skiing and tennis and especially enjoyed snorkeling in exotic locations around the world with her husband, Pat. Sally is survived by R. Patrick Saul, her husband since their marriage on January 2, 1998. Also surviving is daughter, Michelle Diller of Plainwell, MI; granddaughter, Danielle Diller; mother, Myrtle R. Cole of Wayland, MI; sister, Barbara "Jeanie" (Mrs. James) Kerber of Dorr, MI and brother, Gar! y Cole of Dorr, MI. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl, sister, Sharon Parker and brother, Wayne Cole. The Funeral Liturgy to celebrate Sally's life will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 1:00 PM at FARLEY-ESTES & DOWDLE FUNERAL HOME Richland Chapel 9170 East D Avenue officiated by Father Christopher J. Derda, Pastor of St. Ann Catholic Church of Augusta, MI. A time of fellowship and a luncheon will be held immediately following the service in the Richland area. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sally's honor may be made to the Nathanson-Rands Cancer Research Foundation, c/o HFHS Office of Philanthropy, One Ford Place, Suite 5A, Detroit, MI, 48202.
