Of Kalamazoo Passed away on December 7, 2009. Zachary was born May 17, 1989 in Kalamazoo, MI, a son of Timothy and Rebecca (Snyder) Pearce and was a lifelong resident. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed entertaining his family. He also enjoyed being a stage hand and designing and hand making walking canes. He held a Junior Black Belt in Karate. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Rebecca and John MacKenzie of Kalamazoo; grand parents Joan and Dennis Ettwein of Kalamazoo; three sisters, Jessica, Jacqueline and Katelyn Pearce; a step-brother Gerry MacKenzie and a step-sister Chamisa MacKenzie. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 26th at 2PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. James Dyke of St. Andrew Community Church officiating. Visitation will begin one hour before the memorial service. Memorial contributions in Zachary's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
