Norman was born on March 11, 1953 in Pittsburgh PA to Hubert and Alma Miller. He graduated from Avonworth High School and received additional training at the Beattie Technical School. Norman and his wife moved to Kalamazoo in 1979 and was employed for 27 years at NWL/Parker in Kalamazoo. Norman was an easy-going guy who took great pride in his family, loved a good round of golf, and was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Surviving to remember all the good times with him is his wife of 33 years, Sara, and daughters Susanna Wheeler (and husband Mark) of Dalhart, Texas and Caroline Miller (and fiancé Ryan Starks) of Kalamazoo. Norm is also survived by two sisters, Janice (Robert) Shank of Albuquerque NM and Arlene (Tom) Dunn of Lehigh Acres FL and several nieces and nephews. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kalamazoo on Monday, December 21! at 11 AM. Luncheon will follow in the church hall. The family requests black and gold or Steelers attire. Terrible towels are optional but highly recommended. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Joseph Church or the Kalamazoo Humane Society. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
