She was the last surviving child of seven children. Hazel worked and volunteered at Borgess Medical Center for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley in 1970. Hazel is survived by three children: Stan Swonk of Kalamazoo, Sharon Pfifer of Foley, AL and Mary Lou (Jim) Roberts of Kalamazoo; five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or Animal Rescue. Arrangements by REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S.
