She was born August 14, 1912 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of Albert and Jessie Dykens and was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo, where she was a member of Parchment United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband,Richard B. Hiscock in 1987. Cornelia loved all children and babies and was centered on her family. She was a very out going person who accepted everyone into her life, was an exceptional cook and volunteered to help on many church functions. Cornelia is survived by her children, Marilyn (Hugh) Mc Caul of Kalamazoo, Richard A. (Peggy) Hiscock of Battle Creek and Ronald (Pat) Hiscock of Kalamazoo; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary (Russell) Powell; nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Parchment United Methodist Church, 225 Glendale Ave. with Rev. Dan Minor officiating. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memor! ial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, on Monday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Kairos Dwelling or the Parchment United Methodist Church.
