She was born December 23, 1920 in Yale, Iowa to Charles Thomas and Pearl Baker Strothers. Mary Louise was a life long resident of the Kalamazoo area. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents, and her sisters Geraldine TenBrink and Dorothy Jane Morrison. She is survived by her children W. James (Anne) Orr, Patricia (Michael) Mandjack, Elizabeth Conor, and Scott (Diane) Orr. She's also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Lakeland Reformed Church in Portage. Her ashes will be interred at a later date in Mears, Michigan. Those wishing to offer a memorial to Mary Louise, may make a contribution to the American Cancer Society , the American Heart Association , or a charity of choice.
