Age 91 Of Georgetown Passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010. He was born July 3, 1918 in LaFontaine, Indiana, son of the late Homer and Milah Josephine (Bricker) Marks. Mr. Marks served in the United States Army and AirForce as a Second Lieutenant and was a Bombardier in World War II flying 25 missions with the 445th Bombardment Squadron in the 321st Bombardment Group. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Otsego, Michigan and Lexington, Kentucky. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and the Georgetown American Legion. Mr. Marks retired from the International Paper Company and the University of Kentucky, F.I.E. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jean M. (McDonald) Marks; two daughters, Ardean L. Marks of Lexington, Kentucky and Rhonda E. Kucynda of Sedalia, Missouri; one sister, Arloene M. Fisher of California; one brother, Lucian K. Marks of Michigan; five grandchildren, Molly Feltner of Florida, Stephen Kucynda of Georgia, Ben Bradley of Kentucky, Matthew Bradley of Kentucky and C! hristopher Kucynda of Michigan; five great-grandchildren. There will be no services.
