She was born April 17, 1926 in Bryn Mawr, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn (Proctor) Burgess. Kathryn worked as a surgical nurse, telephone operator, K-Mart greeter, and during World War II, she was an arc welder. On July 3, 1966, Kathryn was united in marriage to Walter Boze, Jr., who preceded her in death on July 23, 1999. She was blessed with four children, Tim Worm, Patti Wait, Barbara Hooker, and Sally Beals; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Kathryn enjoyed attending services at New Apostolic Church in Otsego, doing word search puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Memorial services for Kathryn will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday at New Apostolic Church in Otsego (M-89 and Jefferson Rd.). Private interment will be in Prairieville Cemetery at a later date.
