Of Kalamazoo Brad passed away Thursday morning, January 7, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born April 3, 1987 in Kalamazoo, the son of Jim and Sheila (Vito-Randall) Midgett. A 2005 graduate of Maple Valley High School; Brad was employed by Stryker in Portage for the past three years. On June 14, 2008, he was united in marriage to Lydia Parr in Richland, who survives. Also surviving are his father, Jim (Mary Jane Canney) Midgett of Schoolcraft; mother, Sheila (Bob) Vito-Randall Chase of Sierra Vista, AZ; brother, Alexander Midgett of Schoolcraft; grandparents, Dena Cole of Kalamazoo, Ruth (Arthur) Randall of Lawrence; great-grandmother, Lulu Vito Barr of Lawton; aunts and uncles, Chuck Midgett of Galesburg, Eric (Thip) Vito of El Cajon, CA, Keith Randall of Decatur, and Kimberly Randall of Comstock; special cousins, Eric Vito, Clarissa Vito, and Emily Midgett; great-aunts and uncles, Quentin Howard, Linda Leonard, Beverly (John) Pike, Marcia Howard, and Ted ! (Karen) Howard, Cleney (Joyce) Midgett, Bobby (Joyce) Midgett, Inez Midgett, Brenda Midgett, Kenneth Midgett, Johnny Midgett and Leonard (Bonnie) Fisk; mother and father-in-law, Russell and Tammy Parr; sister-in-law, Grace Parr and numerous other cousins and extended family. Preceding him in death were his two grandfathers, William Midgett and Clarence Vito and step-grandfather, Phillip Cole. Funeral services for Brad will be at 10:00 AM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Pastor Jason Stiger of Richland Bible Church officiating. Private interment will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall. Friends may visit with the family from 2-6 PM on Sunday (tomorrow) at the funeral home.
