(Ted), 2839 S. Burdick, Passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1974. Mr. Snyder was born June 13, 1886, in Schoolcraft son of Charles and Alice Snyder. In 1916. he was married to Mary Truax Hampton who survives. Also surviving are one son, Ted Jr. of Kalamazoo; 3 step-children, Donald Hampton of Chicago, Jack Hampton of New York of New York and Mrs. Anita Ball of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Howard and Gregg Snyder of Florida, one great-grandchild, 7 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, a cousin, Shaon [sic] Snyder of Mahonoy, Pa. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Charles, George and Roy. Memorial services will be held Friday at 1 o'clock at the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, the Very Rev. Benjamin V. Lavey, Dean, The Cathedral Church of Christ the King, officiating. Interment in Spruce Memorial Gardens. Friends may meet the family at the chapel Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
