Of Scotts, MI Passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in her home. Kathleen, age 53, was born November 6, 1956 daughter to Harold D Watkins and Ruth C (Finch) Watkins. Kathleen was the proud wife of Roger W Sands, married on December 31, 1987. Kathleen enjoyed her time spent as a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved using her creative abilities in crafts and planning special events. She is survived by her husband Roger W Sands, four children, Jennifer (Drew) Davies, Courtney (Sean) Yontz, Patricia Kilpatrick and Jason (Christina) Mathews; two step-sons; Wayne Sands and Kenny Sands, 14 grandchildren, six brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and one brother. There will be a private visitation and in accordance with Kathleen's wishes cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 4 PM at The Word For Life Church Of God, 7022 E Michigan Ave Kalamazo! o MI with repast following shortly after.
